A Merritt in California

  First off welcome Brother Kerr and Sister Cole to the most chaotic first transfer EVER (hopefully my title was good enough for brother kerr) I've just been replying to my previous emails so yall can scroll back if you want (you should they are really good, the one from April 14 is titled "the curse of brother kerr" so pretty interesting) You all may be thinking "Sister Merritt, how can your transfer get crazier", I promise it can. On Wednesday our district cleaned a church building that wasn't in use and we all wanted to get lunch after, the elders being lame did NOT join us, so it was just the Sisters. We went to Jolibee and it was BOMB, but we're just chilling and this guy comes up to us and starts talking to sister Porter. When he's talking to sister Loris, sister p turns to me and mouths Rebecca AGAIN so we get outta there.   Y'all as chaotic as my title seems, yeah that was my week. That being said yall get a weekly breakdown rq: Tuesday: My comp wasn't feeling super well but she's a trooper so she pushed through Wednesday: FAST FORWARD TO WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 1AM. I wake up to "sister, pssst, sister...we need to go to the er" my girl could not breathe. And yes we tried calling our mission president but he didn't answer and I don't have a driving card yet(we have to sign in on a Lil machine) so she had to drive to the er😭 anyways were there till 4:30 and we still went to zone training and interviews💪 Thursday/Friday: Normal days except we were giving sister Porter plenty of time to rest so I spent a lot of time studying and cleaning and doing duolingo piano. UNTIL, Friday we had a meeting with our friend Danillo except his name was actually Ryan 🚩 his English wasn't super great so after about 20 minutes we called the Spanish elders in his area (were over a ysa and a f...

  Hey guys!!!! IM IN CALI! Technically im in Oakland but still! The weather here is so perfect i love it so much!! Ok quick MTC recap: Tuesday morning a bunch of the elders left which made all the meals SO SAD but we made it through the day! The next morning i woke up at 3 AM to say bye to everyone else and then went back to sleep until my compy had to go🥲 then me and elder torau and elder Scoville made it to the airport and elder Scovilles dad fr happened to be there so he bought us Cafe Rio! It was awesome to have food that wasn't mtc cafeteria. Anyways I miss em all a ton. No one gets the jokes and it's actually so sad! So we made it and met pres and sis lash! They seem awesome! I met my trainer sister Porter, guys, SHES SO COOL!! I don't mean to brag but her prayers are INSANE! We white washed the area (too both sisters out and put us two in) so we had no idea who was who.
