Mission Week 11: Screen No Thirty-nine Time

Hello everybody of the Earth. This week was WILD so buckle up!

Monday: We started at a Dr appointment for sister fessler, so we had to drive to Berkeley 🤮 After, we had a potluck with the zone at the Institute building and we played board games, pool, ping pong and FOOSEBALL!!! I will say that their fooseball table is messed up and swapped around so all my MTC fooseball skill went out the window... When we ended our day, we did an exchange!!!

Tuesday: I ended up going with Sister Elledge to the Walnut Creek/Lafayette area! We did a service at a homeless clothing closet! We helped people pick out and take what clothes they needed! We had a super awesome lesson with one of their friends and me and Sister Elledge had a really good conversation about being a good missionary but still slowing down and taking it easy!

Wednesday: DISTRICT COUNCIL!!🥳🥳 I love my district. We all get along so we'll and they are so understanding and uplifting! We all went and got In n Out after and a Bishop from another ward was there and ended up buying our food😭 Quentin was sick so we could do the Visitors center with him BUT we rescheduled for Tuesday!

Thursday: We started off at a service with the Northgate Sisters! We helped them clean an out of use chapel! The elders joined a little near the end and the building coordinator ended up taking us out for pizza after! Nothing really happened the rest of the day, lots of planning. UNTIL we went to volleyball. We ended up calling the Elders because I wanted a blessing so they pulled up. After we had left we saw that they put POPITS under our cars!! We got so scared when we started driving so we sent them this picture:

Friday: I had my last meeting as a Greenie!!! It was crazy! We picked up Sister Chase (she is an AMAZING service sister who we get to take out with us I love her!!) We went and did some service and then went to a dinner where we had BIRRIA TACOS!! I ascended oh my I was so happy.

Saturday: We had to leave the apartment at 7:30😭 We drove to Richmond to do some service with the Northgate Sisters! We went to a food bank and helped them meal prep! After we went and got Boba and pulled up to the Hilltop building for a BBQ they were having and got to hang out up there! Guess who came back... RED STAR MICHAEL! He's the guy who followed me and Sister Porter last transfer! He put in a referral for us and we called him and gave him all the information for activities and stuff before we realized it was him🤦‍♀️sooo we figured out some safety measures! We had another sisters dinner and it was so fun! We had chicken Alfredo, Caesar salad, muddy buddies and potatoe egg salad!

Sunday: WE GOT 3 FRIENDS TO CHURCH!! We got Troy and Brian to come to the family ward! They both seemed to enjoy it and mentioned coming next week!! And Ty was at the YSA! We unfortunately had to pause teaching him because he wasn't ready. We had such a good conversation though, he was super honest about where he was at and what he needed. He said he knows this is the true church and knows he will get baptized, but just not right now. Sooo that was a bummer, but he's being prepared and I was used by the Lord to help prepare him more!!
