Mission Week 10: Skipped A Week...Ooops

 Hey y'all! Sorry for not sending an email last week! Lowkey was just to lazy... well here's my weekly rundown! Oh first a important moment recap from last last week!


So pretty much my heart rate has been a little high again so pray for me and some guy proposed to me👍🏼

Monday: For P-Day we drove up Mt Diablo (yes dad I drove up a mountain)! The visitor center was closed due to power outages but we still got to be up there which was fun! We went to this really yummy chicken place but it was NOT worth the price in my opinion. For the YSA family home evening we played chair soccer AND QUENTIN PULLED UP!! This is his 2nd FHE!!

Tuesday: We did some service for Sister Okawa! Then we had a pretty good lesson with Troy! 
Important notes about Troy: he's been taught for 4 years. He was on baptismal date but he felt things were getting in the way. He has a mental limitation that makes it hard for him to comprehend some things sometimes.
Were hoping to start building those habits like prayer read and coming to church again! We had taco Tuesday and then our normal Tuesday service at the food bank!

Wednesday: We had an AWESOME pass off lesson with the Elders and their friend Andre! We're gonna start working him into the YSA hopefully! We went knocking with our STLs and I got put with SISTER ELLEDGE!! I love her! We went knocking for about an hour and it was tiring! But we got to join the Northgate Sisters for a member meal at Black Bear Diner (shoutout grandma Lori, it always makes me think of you <3)

Thursday: MY LAST MENTOR SESSION! Brother Jensen is a G. We went and started helping this sweet lady in the Martinez ward. She loves the Elders but just likes Sisters more 😌 WE HAD SUCH GOOD LESSON WITH QUENTIN!! We finished plan of salvation with him and talked about the temple because we wanted to invite him to come to the temple VC with us! He LOVED it! He asked so many good questions and really felt peace. We're going to the VC with him on Wednesday this week!! PRAY FOR HIM!!!

Friday: We had another lesson with Troy! He really loves the Book of Mormon and the principles we teach him! We invited him to start coming back to church! We went over to Sister Warnick and helped her with some things while her granddaughters spent the night!

Saturday: Nothing crazy really! We went over to Carlene's house for lunch. She's this super sweet lady that was being taught but isn't anymore! And that was it😂

Sunday: Ok we were supposed to have 3 friends at church. Ty, Quentin, and Troy. Troy called us in the morning and told us he couldn't make it. ALSO we have a new bishopric in the Pleasant Hill ward and our new Bishop is BISHOP MOSES!! He is a mix of Brother Pearson and Brother Buchmiller for all those seminary kids. He's awesome! Ty didn't show up... again.. really worried about him. We're going to reach out to his roommates this week. Quentin had work so he couldn't come so laaaaame. We went to an event in Brentwood called why I believe. Basically we hear a lot of convert testimonies and hear some amazing music. Speaking of amazing, the missionaries w went up and sang amazing grace so I recorded that for y'all so enjoy!

  Y'all as chaotic as my title seems, yeah that was my week. That being said yall get a weekly breakdown rq: Tuesday: My comp wasn't feeling super well but she's a trooper so she pushed through Wednesday: FAST FORWARD TO WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 1AM. I wake up to "sister, pssst, sister...we need to go to the er" my girl could not breathe. And yes we tried calling our mission president but he didn't answer and I don't have a driving card yet(we have to sign in on a Lil machine) so she had to drive to the er😭 anyways were there till 4:30 and we still went to zone training and interviews💪 Thursday/Friday: Normal days except we were giving sister Porter plenty of time to rest so I spent a lot of time studying and cleaning and doing duolingo piano. Mission Week 4: A Record of Events

I chose to record this week because I'm sick of typing. Here's a list of events I want to share: -P-Day potluck we shared food and played yard games - Zone Conference: I Am A Disciple of Jesus Christ, each day is unique, the Gospel is personal to each of us, "You'll make or break your mission everyday." _Holland  -We had some yummy $1 street tacos - Service at the church building and a family's backyard- I'm getting tan!! -I'm starting to initiate conversations!!! It's been hard for me, but I'm doing it!! It's a HUGE milestone. -Played volleyball and got hurt, but it's okay because Ty came! He's someone we are starting to teach.
