Mission Week 7: Transfers Happened

Hey yall! Sorry I didn't write last week but it was CRAZY! We had transfers so Sister Porter went away🥲 BUT I got Sister Fessler now!! She awesome I love her so much! We didn't have too many crazy things happen these past couple weeks!

We had an old friend of ours reach out for a blessing and lesson so that was an amazing experience!! We did service with the Elders (now Elders Nash and Tate) for like 3 hours! We moved some war collectable to a storage unit!

On Monday we had such a fun pday!! We got a tarp and did a human slip and slide! Buuuut I wasn't wearing sun screen or drinking enough water so I got heat exhaustion and woke up AWFUL on Tuesday.

Cuz I didn't feel good we just stayed home and called people pretty much! I still did my mentor session and we were able to get out and do some visits!

On Wednesday we started our mission tour! Elder Wada of the seventy came down for a few days to do some devotionals and pop in on some plannings! We didn't get a chance to do much because Wednesday was ALL meetings! Sister Fessler almost burned down the apartment so that was INSANE but it's all good! We had a THREE HOUR zone conference with Elder Wada. Normally the way ZCs are done is it's splits the mission into three days and three conferences with you only attending one. Elder Wada changed it so you went to all three but only one in person and we were over zoom that day.

On Thursday we had yet another three hour zone conference over zoom in the morning, but we met up as a district and watched it together. It was super fun! At the end of zone conferences we always sing amazing grace! We did it as a district and it was super bonding! We got lunch at a sandwich place after with Sister Loris, Sister Liwai, AND A NEW MISSIONARY, Sister Tindall!! Also Hayley (Sister Porter) we were not crazy and there was in fact a nail in the tire so we had to get it fixed...

On Friday we FINALLY went in person for the conference and OH MY it was so good!! We talked about our own personal conversions and how we can help our friends recognize their progress and conversion! We went to visit a sweet inactive Sister and she got us PIZZA and we just chatted and had dinner with her! It was awesome! We are going back on Saturday to do service for her and help her get some things situated!

Saturday was SOOOOO GOOD! It got to 98⁰ up here 😵 I'll admit I was NOT excited about going out in that. God knew and He knew it wouldn't be good finding if I did. While we were out doing some visits during the hottest part of the day, we got a message on our zone group chat. Poor Elder Tate was sick! We were out in the area so we ordered to pick up sprite and crackers for them and drop it off because we were near them. It ended up taking up our knocking time BUT we were able to help out the Elders soooo God really knew there. We also *tried* to have a lesson with LEO but he never showed and he hasn't been answering us... its looking like we're gonna have to stop teaching him...

SUNDAY! Guys TY IS SO GOOD!! We weren't able to have a lesson because he had gotten sick BUT he has been reading his Book of Mormon and praying EVERY NIGHT THIS WEEK! He was also able to get a blessing from his roommates! But we haven't heard about that cuz... ya know... we didn't meet him. Anyways, while we were at our family ward, this sweet Sister called us over and handed us a 50 DOLLAR VISA CARD and was like "oh I can't take you out but take this". Let me tell you, we tried not to, but these people are PERSISTENT!!
